Treatment Modalities

Myofascial Release

Fascia is a connective tissue structure that holds all parts of the body together as one without any interruption from head to toe. It’s three dimensional web like shape encases nerves, blood vessels, arteries, muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons and organs. Fascia acts like a structural information highway of protection, connection, mechanotransduction, immunity and support.

When the body undergoes trauma, a tensile pressure of up to 2000 lbs per square inch can be applied to the fascia. Imagine the tissue damages of being compressed by a horse. The restricted blood flow, painful nerve irritation, soft tissue changes…

Myofascial Release is a slow integrated soft tissue manipulation that is held for several minutes allowing adequate time for healing to occur in the webbing fascial structure.

Deep Tissue Release

A safe and connective approach to breaking through the fascial layers, superficial layers and the deeper intrinsic muscle layers that hold our postural integrity and skeletal support. With the trust of your therapist through direct communication and feedback, an appropriate and tolerable amount of pressure is applied in the appropriate muscle groups with techniques to provide pain relief, reduce restricted, adhered and hyper toned tissue layers. This provides increased mobility and range of motion to maintain healthy tissue and joint spaces.

Traditional Swedish Massage

Recharge with a calming relaxation experience. Swedish and non-swedish massage techniques are applied to increase circulation, promote tissue hydration, reduce symptoms of stress, improve sleep quality, prevent injuries and promote overall tissue health and wellness.
